Dogs need exercise for their overall well-being.

Not only does exercise benefit their health and keep them mentally stimulated, it also helps with their overall behavior. It allows for a more happy family pet. It can help them live longer and with less pain, which, in turn, reduces veterinary bills.

About

Early Career

I have 18 years of experience as a registered veterinary technician in southern Kansas City. My involvement with animals started as a young child. I was born on a farm in Iowa and interacted with a variety of pets and farm animals. I put my love for animals on the backburner as I pursued my other love, being active and participating in athletics. I played volleyball and basketball and received my BA in Public Relations at Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After moving to the KC area my love for animals took the forefront. I decided to attend Maple Woods Community College and obtained a degree in Veterinary Technology. I am currently a member of NAVTA, KSVTA, CPR certified, and Fear Free trained.

New Journey

I am now changing roles and combining my passion for being active and animals by offering busy dog owners a way to keep them happy and healthy. My favorite saying is "A tired dog is a good dog." I know how difficult it can be to fit in exercising your dog with work schedules, kids, kid's activities, volunteering, etc. I will provide reliable, energetic and fun walks or yard time for you furry friends.

Services

  • bulletDog Walking

I will take your furry friend on a 30-60 minute leashed walk, provide water after the walk and share pictures from our route.
I will also provide treats if their diet allows.

All dogs are different so the walk will be customized to your dog's needs. If you have a young, energetic dog or a senior, arthritic dog we can work together on a walking routine just for their needs.
Some dogs also have medical conditions. This will be taken into consideration.

  • bulletIn-home visit

Just need a drop in visit with some yard play?
I provide 30 minute visits designed to engage with your dog in the comfort of their own yard/home.

  • bulletRVT Services

Sometimes going to the vet can be stressful for your pet. I can provide RVT services for your pet in your home.
Examples of these services include nail trims, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, administering medication, nursing care and post op supportive care.
Please see Fuzzl.co for a list of all services or email Motion Pet Club for more information.
